Essential Functions
- Welcome and greet guests
- Take beverage orders from guests and servers
- Verify age of all guests who appear < 30 years old
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with our standard drink recipes
- Learn the names and personally recognize our regular guests
- Record drink orders accurately process in POS system accurately
- Accept guests’ payments, process credit card charges and makes changes (if applicable)
- Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish appetizers for bar guests
- Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages
- Clear and resets bar top promptly and efficiently
- Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beers and beverages
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas
- Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar
- Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the manager on duty
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
- Fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the manager on duty
- Other various tasks as assigned

Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- At least 1 year bartending experience in a restaurant or pub with full bar preferred
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor in stressful situations
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and listening
- A desire to help out where needed and work as part of a team
