Opportunity: Senior Financial Analyst

Compile, review, analyze, interpret and report historical, current, and projected financial data while working closely as a liaison between the accounting and other shared services departments to coordinate accurate and timely reporting needs among all departments.

Essential Job Functions

• Utilize reporting tools necessary to perform daily, weekly, and monthly tasks including all available technology. 

• Assist in implementing new tools, reports, and technology to analyze and report data needs among all departments.

• Coordination of reporting to operations, senior management and ownerships groups.

• Train associate on the effective use of tools, reports and technology used for analysis.

• Develop, maintain, and support standard reporting templates and that support financial results.

• Identify, compile and report key performance metrics on a monthly basis. 

• Provide timely feedback to management on financial analysis for individual hotels, regions, or entire portfolio as assigned by management.

• Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear and precise data analysis to both senior leadership and third party ownership  groups.

• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.

• Practice safe work habits.

• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Previous experience in accounting or finance, preferably including analysis.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including advanced skills with Excel and PowerPoint.
