Pool Supervisor (Seasonal) 

The Pool Supervisor will fully maintain and supervise the Pool staff, Pool Bar, and Pool area.  This includes direct service to guests at their seats for food, beverage, and other services.  They may also prepare beverages for other staff member to supply guests and can act as a cashier as well.

Essential Job Functions 

• Supervise associates working at The Pool Bar
• Train new associates and provide continual, on the spot coaching
• Handle guest issues, complaints by offering creative, effective solutions
• Maintain Forbes service and quality standard on a consistent basis
• Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar and pool area on a daily basis
• Responsible for maintaining stock, inventory, preparing and storing of all garnishes, juices and other 
• Greets guests with warm, genuine hospitality
• Promotes and up-sells product
• Handles production of all consumption sheets or assists in the cash bar set up and closing process
• Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to Health Department regulations
• Attends weekly and monthly Hotel meetings as related to The Pool
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisor

Job Requirements

• Leadership and training knowledge in Food & Beverage
• Knowledge of food & beverage safety and cleaning principles
• Ability to offer on the spot coaching and handle progressive discipline with associates
• Ability to handle guest opportunities and offer creative, effective solutions
• Ability to multi-task
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages 

Work Environment and Context 

• Seasonal employment from March to October
• Work schedule varies and will include working on holidays and weekends. 
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 30 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
