Opportunity: Outdoor F&B Operations Manager

 

Effectively lead and manage the staff and operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring the delivery of superior food and beverage menu items and services that will provide guests with a memorable experience. Take ownerships of the financial aspects of operations pertaining to the role, while creating a work environment consistent with our values.

Your Focus

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the outdoor full-service restaurant, poolside service, and beach service, ensuring smooth and efficient service across all venues.

  • Collaborate closely with the Recreation team to align F&B service with programming, guest activities, and special events, ensuring a cohesive outdoor guest experience.

  • Engage proactively with guests throughout outdoor areas to deliver personalized service and elevate overall satisfaction.

  • Partner with the Recreation and Marketing teams to plan and execute outdoor activations, events, and unique guest experiences.

  • Train, mentor, and support front-of-house staff to uphold high service standards and drive team performance.

  • Ensure all outdoor F&B operations are compliant with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback and concerns, using insights to inform service improvements by reporting opportunities on GXP

  • Work collaboratively with culinary and bar teams to ensure consistency and quality in food and beverage offerings.

  • Develop and implement operational standards, SOPs, and training programs tailored to the unique needs of outdoor service venues.

  • Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and staffing needs in partnership with the broader F&B leadership team to maintain optimal coverage.

  • Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost controls in line with departmental budgets.

  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of team members within outdoor F&B outlets.

  • Continuously assess operations to identify and implement improvements in efficiency, service quality, and guest engagement.

  • Represent outdoor F&B operations in cross-departmental meetings, walk-throughs, and daily briefings.

  • Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic upkeep of all outdoor dining and service areas in collaboration with Engineering and Housekeeping teams.

 

Your Background and Skills

  • Prior management experience in restaurants required.

 

Work Environment and Context 

  • Work schedule varies and may include working varied shifts, holidays and weekends.
  • Requires ability to navigate throughout the restaurant and kitchen, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and associates verbally and in writing.
