Job Title: IT Manager

Position Summary
Hotel is seeking a polished and technically adept IT Manager to lead all technology operations and innovation at our iconic luxury property. This individual will manage critical hotel systems, ensure flawless guest technology experiences, and support back-of-house digital excellence. The successful candidate brings a rare combination of hospitality sensibility, technical rigor, and proactive leadership in a high-performance, design-forward environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Core Systems & Infrastructure
- Oversee the hotel's Infor HMS property management system and ensure system uptime, integrity, and staff training.
- Manage all supporting systems including POS (Micros), VOIP, IPTV, HSIA, guest Wi-Fi, and back-office servers.
- Maintain high performance of core infrastructure including switches, firewalls, workstations, and secure network access points.
2. Guest Technology & Smart Room Integration
- Ensure optimal function and guest satisfaction through oversight of Lutron lighting systems, DigiValet smart room technology, and mobile room control platforms.
- Partner with front-of-house and guest services to support all in-room tech and digital guest experiences.
- Respond rapidly to guest technology support needs, always with discretion and professionalism.
3. Artificial Intelligence & Digital Enablement
- Implement and support AI-driven guest services, operational tools, and personalization platforms.
- Partner with marketing and operations to activate AI for guest engagement, data analysis, and service optimization.
4. Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Lead data security initiatives to protect guest information and hotel systems.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with PCI DSS, data privacy laws, and internal security protocols.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage incident response plans.
5. Vendor, Project & Budget Management
- Manage vendor relationships for IT, AI, and AV platforms.
- Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements for all IT services.
- Plan and lead technology upgrades, integrations, and capital improvement projects.
6. Strategic Leadership
- Serve as the property's digital innovation lead, bringing forward ideas that enhance efficiency, guest delight, and team productivity.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT strategy with the hotel's luxury brand vision.
- Contribute to sustainability and operational excellence through smart automation and energy-efficient technology use.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience in a hospitality or luxury hotel environment.
- Expertise with Infor HMS, Lutron, DigiValet, and Oracle/Micros systems.
- Proven track record in cybersecurity, network management, and vendor oversight.
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for system maintenance and guest support.

- Experience in a Forbes or Michelin-rated hotel.
- Familiarity with AI integration platforms used in hospitality.
- Project management certification or demonstrated success leading complex IT initiatives.
