Opportunity:  Payroll Coordinator

 

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the overall payroll process to ensure timely and accurate compensation payments are distributed, while maintaining confidentiality of information.

Essential Job Functions

  • Process regular payroll cycles for property.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies through researching data in the time and attendance application.
  • Respond to requests for payroll information timely and maintain confidentiality of records.
  • Ensure correspondence (including phone calls, mail, and email) from internal and external customers is addressed timely and accurately.
  • Maintain an efficient payroll process to include an organized filing and tracing system.
  • Perform clerical duties in support of the accounting department.
  • Support special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Practice safe work habits.
  • Perform other duties as request by management.

Position Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous accounting/bookkeeping/payroll experience or training required 
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

Work Environment and Context

  • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends and alternate shifts.
  • Required to sit for extended periods, lift up to ten pounds, bend, reach, use hand and fingers to operate keyboard.
