Hotel Nia, an Autograph Collection, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the commercial efforts and shape the property's continued success in the heart of Silicon Valley.
This is a high-impact leadership role for a results-oriented professional who thrives in both strategic planning and hands-on execution. As the head of the Sales & Marketing team, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue through integrated sales initiatives, compelling marketing campaigns, and strong brand positioning.

Your Focus
Team Leadership & Culture
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing Sales & Marketing team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability to exceed goals and support hotel-wide success.
Strategic Sales Planning
Partner with Revenue Management to develop and execute effective sales strategies that optimize market mix, channel performance, and rate positioning.
Integrated Marketing Execution
Create and implement a comprehensive marketing plan across digital, social, and traditional platforms. Champion storytelling, visual identity, and messaging that reflect the Hotel Nia brand and resonate with target audiences.
Brand Partnership & Positioning
Ensure alignment with Marriott standards while maintaining Hotel Nia’s distinctive identity. Leverage brand tools, systems, and platforms to maximize visibility and performance.
Business Development & Key Accounts
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new opportunities in the group, corporate, and leisure segments. Lead high-level negotiations and oversee the conversion of qualified leads into closed business.
Content & Digital Oversight
Manage digital presence, collaborating with digital partners and agencies on campaign planning and ROI tracking.
Public Relations & Community Engagement
Represent Hotel Nia in local and regional partnerships. Oversee PR initiatives, media outreach, and community-facing activations that enhance brand equity.
Analytics & Reporting
Utilize data insights and competitive intelligence to evaluate performance, refine strategy, and adjust forecasting and budgeting in collaboration with key departments.
Your Backgroung and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
5+ years of sales and marketing leadership experience in a hotel environment, with demonstrated success managing both revenue and brand strategy
Experience within a Marriott brand strongly preferred, especially knowledge of brand systems and tools (e.g., CI/TY, OneSource, MarRFP, etc.)
Proven track record of managing teams, motivating performance, and mentoring talent
Skilled in digital marketing, public relations, content development, and campaign execution
Tech-savvy and proficient in Salesforce, Delphi, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant marketing tools

The compensation range for this role is $165,000.00-$175,000.00 and the determined salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience within the hospitality industry.
Centrally located on the San Francisco Peninsula in the Menlo Park Gateway, Hotel Nia is redefining the expectation for high-end hospitality among Redwood City hotels in Silicon Valley.
