Overview

Opportunity:  Outlets Attendant/Cashier

Provide excellent service and prepare prompt food and beverage to guests while maximizing sales and guest satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions

 

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional presence at the cashiers’ station at all times
  • Process financial /guest transactions in an accurate, efficiently, and timely manner
  • Prepare and serve menu items such as coffees, drinks, sandwiches, salads, etc. in a prompt and professional manner.  
  • Follow food and beverage preparation and usage instructions to minimize waste.
  • Up-sell menu items and specials to maximize food and beverage revenues.  Work within policy to accommodate guests’ special food and drink requests.
  • Ensure adequate supply of plates, utensils, napkins, and other supplies throughout shift; replenish/restock supplies and inventory according to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform all pre-shift and post-shifts duties, side-work, and related paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean, neat and well-organized work area, including but not limited to refrigerators, display cases, counters, and seating areas.  Report all unsafe or malfunctioning equipment, safety hazards, or maintenance problems to management.
  • Complete pre, running, and post shift side-work requirements
  • Ability to multi – task with the needs of the business
  • Know all pricing, promotions, and discounts that apply to pricing
  • Knowledge of all amenities to properly transact and deliver to its completion
  • Adheres to appearance, hygiene and uniform standards
  • Responsible for opening, closing and running duties of cash handling policies and cash out process
  • Adhere to all internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Attend all department and pre shifts meetings.

 

Position Requirements

 

  • High School Diploma or GED. 1 year of cash handling, and food preparation experience. 
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisor and fellow employees in English.
  • Must be able to analyze routine data to make appropriate judgments regarding the process of the food & beverage department.

Work Environment and Context

  • Must be able to work standing for long periods of time and be able to handle stressful conditions.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • May be required at times to work holidays and/or weekends
