Snapshot: Manage accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit new business ensuring all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded.

 

Your Growth Path: Property Director of Sales – Area Director of Sales – Regional Director of Sales

 

Your Focus 

  • Hunt for new business: Proactively seek and secure new corporate group and event clients through innovative strategies and relationship building.
  • Build strong relationships: Cultivate lasting partnerships with clients, showcasing Hotel Landy as the premier choice for their needs.  
  • Deliver Results: Meet and exceed revenue goals by closing deals that contribute to the hotel’s growth and profitability. 
  • Strategize and Lead: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Team to create and implement effective business development strategies. 
  • Stay Competitive: Analyze market trends and competitor activity to ensure Hotel Landy stays ahead of the game.  
  • Use professional sales techniques to negotiate the best possible terms and conditions that satisfy customer (internal and external) requirements.
  • Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Articulate and leverage the benefits of the hotel to close sales opportunities.
  • Travel locally to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel and review competition.
  • Represent hotel at trade shows.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skills 

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related industry preferred.
  • Proven track record in sales required and previous hospitality sales experience preferred.

Work Environment and Context 

  • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 10 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. 
  • Moderate travel between hotel and client’s locations.
