Opportunity:  Laundry Delivery Driver

Transport clean and soiled linen to and from sister-hotels in the area. Assist the laundry department between runs with performing laundry services and other housekeeping functions.

Essential Job Functions

• Safely drive box truck to and from hotels in the area.
• Pick up and deliver linens to and from the laundry facility.
• Follow linen inventory control processes to ensure linen distribution and collection is properly tracked.
• Sort, count, and pre-treat soiled linen in preparation for laundering.
• Load and unload washers and dryers up to 400lb capacity.
• Operate washers, dryers, towel folder, and irons.
• Transport loaded linen carts.
• Maintain equipment as trained.
• Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment. 
• Assist with other housekeeping tasks in the event of staffing shortages.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license required along with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Prior housekeeping experience desirable. 

Work Environment and Context

• Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends or alternate shifts.
• Requires standing or sitting for extended periods, driving, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and reaching.
• Operate heavy machinery and use cleaning chemicals.
