Opportunity: People Support Intern

Perform administrative tasks to support talent acquisition, on boarding, employee relations, benefit administration, training and hotel acquisition functions. 


Essential Job Functions

  • Process, verify and maintain employee and applicant documentation in human resources information systems.
  • Compile and report employee and applicant data.
  • Assist with new hire paperwork and the on-boarding process.
  • Assist employees and applicants with completing required forms and procedures.
  • Assist in planning employee events and informational meetings.
  • Provide administrative support to human resources management staff.
  • Complete special projects such as open enrollment, hotel integrations, and employee review process.
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
  • ·Practice safe work habits.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements

  • A full-time student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.
  • Previous work experience in the human resources or hospitality field preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage information flow.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work on independent tasks.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office.
  • Solid presentation and power point skills as well as strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Work Environment and Context

  • Requires sitting for extended periods, use of hands and fingers to operate computers and keyboards.
