Opportunity: Marketing Intern
The hospitality industry is an exciting and fast-paced environment that creates opportunities for marketing and PR majors seeking a stimulating career. We are looking for a motivated and energetic candidate to assist the HHM public relations/communications and marketing teams with general marketing communications functions. This includes but is not limited to media relations, internal company communications, content creation and design.
Essential Job Functions
Assist in organizing content from a creative and strategic perspective for a variety of uses including hotel press releases, collateral, web copy, social media, internal announcements, and more.
Create or update contact lists for press outreach and conduct follow up outreach.
Support company newsletter: content, design and formatting.
Research editorial calendars and secure media opportunities.
Assistance with clipbooks including media monitoring; maintaining database of company achievements and awards.
Summer Project to research and recommend improvements for the development of internal communications tools.
Working towards or have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Minimum two years of coursework completed.
Work Environment and Context
Required to sit for extended periods, lift up to 10 pounds, bend, reach, use hands and fingers to operate keyboard.
Overtime may be required.
